Get the fit right
A sleepsuit that is too small pulls on the closures and cramps the feet. If you get it wrong anyway, the exchange is free: we ship the new size first.

How to measure
Weight: use the last number from your pediatrician, or weigh yourself holding the baby and subtract. Length: lay the baby down and measure from the top of the head to the heel with a soft tape, legs gently straightened.
How it should fit
The sleepsuit should close without pulling, with a little slack at the crotch and room to stretch the legs. Feet should reach the end of the footie without the toes being pressed. Sizes 12-18M and 18-24M are cut snug fitting, as US children's sleepwear should be: close to the body, not loose.
Sizing up
Newborns grow about an inch a month at first. If your baby is at the top of a range, or if you are buying ahead, take the next size. The fold over cuffs cover the hands until the sleeves are the right length.
